Mr. Drozd
Peter Drozd knows that successful students become successful adults. This is his 21st year in the Union City Public Schools, starting at Union Hill High School in September 2000. Mr. Drozd brings over 20 years of experience in technology, manufacturing, and law into the classroom. So far, Robotics and Engineering at Jose Marti STEM Academy are his favorite subjects to teach! Mr. Drozd was honored to receive the Princeton University Distinguished Secondary Teaching Award in 2017. He loves science and technology and is proud to coach both the Robotics and Esports teams.
Mr. Drozd earned his Juris Doctor degree at Seton Hall University School of Law, his Master of Arts in Administration and Supervision at Montclair State University, and his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at New Jersey City University. In addition, he has received engineering training through Project Lead the Way at Penn State Berks and Robotics and Coding at New Jersey Institute of Technology.
In his spare time, Mr. Drozd enjoys cooking, training his little Maltese Coco, and exploring New York City with Mrs. Drozd.
